Avatar: Setting a New Standard in Storytelling!
James Cameron has done it again with the epic adventure Avatar. I had to admit I had my doubts about this movie, but my fears were soon calmed as I fell in love with the Na'Vi race . This movie is more than a mere love story. Avatar shows us how nature is not only for our benefit. All in all it was thought-provoking and should top the Oscar list in 2011. IMHO, this is the best movie I've seen this year hands down.
Functional Sculpture or Slip Hazard ? You decide
Being the environmentalist that I am, I currently read Garden Design Magazine, and it never ceases to amaze me, and I am always inspired with ideas for a home that does not exist as of yet . However, it helps to dream and this is only a minute sector of that dream. My dream tub that retails for 19,000 dollars. I digress.

Ninja Assassin
Don't Know if you guys have had a chance to catch Ninja Assassin (I know its late however) this movie is quite awesome. Directed by Joel Silver and Wachowski Brothers, this film has an excellent plotline and you often feel empathy for the the lead characterRaizo due mainly on part of his harsh master. Raizo starts to harbor resentment and chooses to rebel and the rest is history. Lead character Raizo played by Korean born actor/businessman Jeong Ji-hoon, is already a pop star back home but has become an international sensation with the release of Ninja Assassin.

Police Seek Bald Man Who Swiped Family's Turkey
Alright Followers, so here I am perusing the internet looking for weird news and lo and behold I find it. Police in Jackson, Michigan say that they are working to crack a case involving a stolen turkey. Being the sarcastic being that I am, my mind goes straight for puns that are intended. Number one pun: This was a case of fowl play. Okay that was kinda lame but it works. The report continues to say that everybody was home, but no one was injured. Oh and it gets better the women of the house knew the guy who broke in! As a result, I decide to piece together all the evidence. If the turkey was "stolen", everybody was home, and the wife knew the culprit wasn't this the basic Thanksgiving dinner? All that was missing was Scrabble and Al Roker. In my opinion, all the guy did was leave with a turkey instead of a plate.

Janet Jackson Seen With Colin Farrell
I was surfing through the chans and discovered via ET some shocking and inspiring news: Janet Jackson and Colin Farrell seen together in Beverly Hills last week. My mind automatically switches to "is he a rebound from Dupri?" If so that's a damn good rebound in my book. Colin Farrell has been known to be a "playboy" and has been seen with numerous women i.e. Britney Spears. However, will it last? And if there is something going on why all the secrecy? I mean Colin Farrell is not the best catch, but I cannot deny my heart from that bad-boy image and those oh so brooding eyebrows. SqueaL!
New Moon = Gross 140.7 Million Squeal !
Okay, gals besides the shirtless wolfpack and a beefy Talylor Lautner New Moon was actually a great movie with a good storyline. Personally, I was shocked at how engrossed I was with the characters. It was your basic vampire meets girl, Vampire leaves girl, Girl gets depressed for months, Werewolf boy (Jacob) helps girl forget Vampire boy (Edward) New Moon is now in the rankings with such movies as The Dark Knight and Spider-Man 3. BTW third installment Eclipse had already been shot and will be in theaters June 10 2010.
Blood: The Last Vampire ( 4 Stars)
So I went to the Redbox up the street last night and rented Blood: The Last Vampire. Okay, the Movie started out great. However, the anime is much better. Some of the scences were "corny" and drawn out. In my opinion, the CGI could have been better. The story line was great (filled with loads pd flashbacks of a cruel childhood). All in all, the movie was okay, a mere 4 stars in my book.
