Turning over a New Leaf ..

This season, Prada sticks to the epitaph that Life in Italy proclaimed it to be "sexy and spoke of confidence without revealing too much skin". This is and will always be the essence of Prada. The new Fall 2010 line often reminds me of the qualities that my mother conveyed, one such quality was to be seen and not heard; and Prada mos def speaks volumes without being trashy.

Ode to Temperley London

Since the tragic passing of Alexander McQueen, I thought there would be no other designer to take his place, and it never will be. However, lately Alice Temperely has mos def warmed my spirits. This England native has the innate sense of what a woman wants and needs to wear. Furthermore, with a combination of Joan Jett -esque clothing and the fabulous model Kinée Diouf , Alice's Fall 2010 line has once again reminded me of the words of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, "We are shaped and fashioned by what we love", and that my lovelies is the very essence of fashion. To shape.To Love. Fashion.
