Ode to Temperley London

Since the tragic passing of Alexander McQueen, I thought there would be no other designer to take his place, and it never will be. However, lately Alice Temperely has mos def warmed my spirits. This England native has the innate sense of what a woman wants and needs to wear. Furthermore, with a combination of Joan Jett -esque clothing and the fabulous model Kinée Diouf , Alice's Fall 2010 line has once again reminded me of the words of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, "We are shaped and fashioned by what we love", and that my lovelies is the very essence of fashion. To shape.To Love. Fashion.

Diane had a dark side????

I was pleasantly surprised when I saw Diane Von Furstenburg Spring 2010 collection. My mind was blow by the Heavy-Metal pieces, previously my mind had grown accustomed to bright hues with juxtaposed bold print. Once again Diane you have shown me the light and I see that you are a truly versatile and stylish designer.
